Instances are rationed one at a time
Lite comes with one. Startup at €49 a month has two, Business at €99 has three, Business Pro at €219 has five. If you want separate endpoints for separate clients or environments, that count is the thing you are buying.

Users are counted
5 on Lite, 15 on Startup, 50 on Business, 100 on Business Pro. Every person or system that needs its own login spends one, so onboarding a client is an arithmetic problem before it is a folder.

Headcount and capacity rise together
Going from 15 users to 50 also takes you from 20 GB to 50 GB and from €49 to €99. You buy the storage whether the files need it or not, because the ladder moves both numbers at once.

The SFTPCloud column was read off sftpcloud.io on 2026-07-30, and every row marked above carries the date it was checked. Where a cell says a thing is not listed, it means the published plans are not sold on it. Bridglet's column is the limit the server actually enforces.
What you give up
Moving costs you something. Here is the part of SFTPCloud that Bridglet has no answer for.
A static IP address
SFTPCloud can put your endpoint on a fixed address. Bridglet cannot, so a client whose network team only allows traffic to a named IP has nothing here to put on the list.
FTPS as well as SFTP
Some vendor systems are old enough that FTPS is all they speak. Bridglet offers SFTP and the browser portal over HTTPS, and there is no third protocol coming.
Your own hostname on the endpoint
SFTPCloud will serve the endpoint on a hostname you control. Bridglet's endpoint is a Bridglet hostname, which is what your vendors will see in their connection settings.
EU data residency
SFTPCloud prices in euros and hosts in Europe. Bridglet runs in the United States. When a contract says the data does not leave the EU, that sentence decides the question on its own.
Things Bridglet has never had
No SOC 2 report. No custom domain for your endpoint. No command line tool. No option to point a shared folder at a storage bucket you own. No phone support, and no static IP address to hand a firewall team. If any of those is a requirement, this is the wrong product and the page will not pretend otherwise.
Switching from SFTPCloud
There is no migration tool and nothing copies itself across. What a move involves is this, and it is mostly telling people where to send things now.

List the instances and who logs into each one
On Lite that is one instance and up to five logins. On the tiers above it is worth writing out, because the mapping from instance to client is the thing you are about to rebuild.

Create one shared folder per sender
A shared folder is the separation an instance was giving you. Each one has its own path, its own retention setting in days, and credentials that open nothing else.

Hand out the new way in
Systems and scripts get an SFTP host, a username and a password or public key. People get a portal link and choose their own passphrase the first time they use it. Nobody is counted as a user.

Point your webhook at the new URL
SFTPCloud already calls you when a file arrives, so the receiving end exists. Set your URL on each shared folder and read the webhook docs before cutting over, because the body is not the same.

Overlap for a cycle, then cancel
Nothing copies across by itself. Download anything you still need, keep both live while the last sender moves, and close the old plan when the endpoint has gone quiet.

Questions people ask before they move
Does Bridglet count users?

No. Teammates, guests and SFTP logins are not seats, and adding one does not move the price. Plans are sized by how many shared folders you keep and how much space they hold.
Can I keep my existing SFTP client?

Yes. Bridglet is standard SFTP with password or public key authentication, so FileZilla, WinSCP, Cyberduck and the sftp command from OpenSSH connect the way they do today. Your senders change a host and a username.
Can I get a static IP or my own hostname?

Neither. The endpoint is a Bridglet hostname on shared addresses. If a client's firewall rule or a compliance document depends on a fixed IP, SFTPCloud is the better answer and you should keep it.
Does Bridglet support FTPS?

No. SFTP over SSH, and the browser portal over HTTPS. A sender that can only do FTPS has no route in, so check that before you move anyone.
Where is my data stored?

In the United States. There is no EU region to choose, so a data residency clause in a client contract rules this out before anything else does.
