Terms of Service

The service

Bridglet provides managed SFTP directories: hosted storage accessible over SFTP and a REST API, with a web dashboard for management. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials, SFTP passwords, and API keys secure. You're responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and any SFTP users you create within it. Notify us immediately if you suspect a credential has been compromised.

Acceptable use

You may not use Bridglet to:

• Store or transmit illegal content.
• Host or distribute malware.
• Operate spam infrastructure.
• Abuse, overload, or interfere with the service's availability for other tenants.
• Attempt to access another tenant's directories, credentials, or files.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Service availability

We target high availability for the SFTP endpoint, dashboard, and API. Self-serve plans do not come with a contractual uptime SLA or service credits. If you need a formal SLA, contact us to discuss an enterprise agreement.

Billing

Paid plans are billed as subscriptions through Stripe and renew automatically each month. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We don't offer prorated refunds for partial months except where required by law.

Data ownership

You own the files you upload to Bridglet. We claim no ownership over your content. You grant Bridglet only the limited license needed to store, transmit, and serve your files back to you as part of operating the service.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms or the acceptable use policy above. After termination, your data remains available for export for 30 days before it's deleted.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bridglet's total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Bridglet is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
